Meet Kristal

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here

I’m am an authentic, warm and compassionate therapist who has experience working with adolescents, adults and families with a range of concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, self worth, self esteem and relationship challenges. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism or self criticism and are often looking for a space to feel seen, supported and gently challenged

I have particular interest in the areas of eating disorders and body image concerns, with extensive personal and professional experience in this field of mental health. I am formally recognised as a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), working closely with individuals and families navigating the complexities of recovery. Whether you have a diagnosed eating disorder or are experiencing issues with food such as binge eating, restrictive eating or body image distress — you deserve support!

My approach is grounded in evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I integrate these approaches in a way that's tailored to you with curiosity, compassion and a belief in your capacity to grow. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, explore what matters and make sustainable change
