Many Australian private health insurance policies offer rebates for counselling services under their ‘Extras’ cover. Depending on your level of cover and insurer, you may be eligible to claim a portion of your session fee. We work with a range of private health insurers including — Bupa, AHM, Medibank, HCF, ARHG (which is an umbrella company for) AIA Health Insurance, Emergency Services Health, Frank Health Insurance, GMHBA, Mildura Health Fund, Nurses & Midwives Health, Phoenix Health, Police Health, See-U, St Lukes Health, Teachers Health, TUH, UniHealth & Westfund

How to claim your private health rebate

We make the claiming process easy:

  1. Book a session with one of our qualified counsellors

  2. Pay upfront for your session

  3. Get an itemised receipt with all required details (provider number, service type, etc.)

  4. Submit the receipt to your health fund via their app, online portal or in branch

Your rebate will typically be processed within a few business days

  • No referral is required to see our counsellors or to claim private health rebates
